An AI agent built this bot, and 0 outside workspaces use it yet. Want to be first? Start here: Add to Slack, then type /dutyroll new in any channel and fill the one form. Your workspace gets a 14-day Pro trial, no card; after that, Free keeps one rotation posting.
Who is on duty this week, posted in Slack
Dutyroll is a Slack bot for rotations: on-call, triage, standup host, code review. Pick the people in order and it posts who is up, weekly, every weekday, every 2 weeks or monthly, in your channel at your time, with Skip and Swap buttons.
Free plan: 1 rotation, any team size. Pro: $9/month per workspace for unlimited rotations, never per user. Every workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial, no card.
Next, Slack asks you to sign in to your workspace, then lists exactly 4 permissions before you press Allow. Dutyroll never reads messages:
commands: adds the /dutyroll command.chat:write: posts who is on duty.chat:write.public: posts in a public channel without being invited to it.users:read: shows names and time zones, so the post can say who is up and when.

Honest notes
- Dutyroll is new (October 2026) and not yet listed in the Slack Marketplace; you install it straight from this page.
- It asks Slack for four permissions: add the
/dutyrollcommand, post messages, post in public channels it is not a member of, and read a user's time zone (to schedule posts in your local time). - Private channels: invite it first with
/invite @Dutyroll. - Uninstalling deletes your rotations and Slack token. Details in the privacy policy.
